We produce corporate events, conferences and exhibitions across London from an 18,000 sq ft warehouse in Southwark. Our 30,000-piece hire inventory is reused for years, not months, which helps reduce the embodied impact of equipment, keeps unnecessary freight movements down, and limits reliance on single-use builds. We’ve been working this way in-house since 1997, with our planning and delivery informed by ISO 20121 principles and with supplier data available to support procurement and ESG reporting where possible. It’s a less glamorous version of sustainable event production, and it’s the version that holds up when someone starts checking the numbers.

Reuse-first
hire inventory
Our 30,000-piece hire inventory is built to be reused for years, not months. Every screen, speaker and control unit going to your event has been on hundreds of jobs before it, and will be on hundreds more after. New builds are the exception, not the rule.
Central London
warehouse
Our 18,000 sq ft warehouse in Southwark keeps equipment close to many of the London venues we work in. Shorter transport distances can reduce unnecessary freight mileage and make equipment movements easier to consolidate across event schedules.
LED and low-energy equipment
Our lighting and video wall inventory is LED-first, including one of the UK's largest stock holdings of Absen LED panels. LEDs use significantly less energy than tungsten or lamp-based units and generate less heat, which eases the venue's cooling load.
Right-sized AV specification
Bigger screens and more lights aren't always better. Our in-house production team specifies the AV around the actual room, audience and content. Less over-speccing means less power draw, less freight and less waste.
Hybrid and
virtual formats
Attendee travel can account for the largest share of an event's carbon footprint. Where the brief allows, hybrid or fully virtual formats can cut that dramatically. We produce all three, so the choice can be based on impact rather than capability.

We work to ISO 20121 principles across planning, delivery and post-event review. When your ESG team needs supplier data on equipment energy draw, freight distance or material use, we'll work with you to gather what we can from the job.

LOWER-FOOTPRINT EVENTS
Low-energy LED video walls
Our Absen LED video wall inventory is one of the largest in the UK. LED technology can reduce power consumption compared with older display and projection technologies, run cooler in many applications and replace printed scenic elements such as single-use vinyl backdrops.
LED-first lighting technology
EMS Events’ lighting inventory is built around LED fixtures. LED fixtures generally use less energy and last considerably longer than traditional tungsten lamps. They also generate less heat, which can reduce the demand placed on venue cooling systems.
A hire model built for reuse
Our 30,000-piece hire inventory is designed to be reused for years, not months. Every screen, speaker and control unit is intended for repeated use across many events throughout its working life. Reuse at that scale is one of the most practical ways an AV supplier can reduce the embodied impact associated with event equipment.
Modular staging designed to be reassembled
EMS Events’ in-house set team designs modular scenery that’s built to be dismantled, transported flat, and rebuilt for the next event. That keeps material out of skips and reduces the embodied carbon associated with manufacturing new scenery from scratch.
Hybrid and virtual production, when it fits the brief
Attendee travel can account for a substantial share of an event’s carbon footprint, particularly when delegates are travelling long distances. Where the brief allows, hybrid or fully virtual production can shrink that share. We deliver all three formats in-house, so the format decision can be made on impact, not on capability.
Interpretation that keeps events in one place
Our Bosch simultaneous interpretation systems cover more than 60 languages in a single venue. That means one event instead of the same event repeated across multiple regional runs. One venue and one production setup can mean fewer duplicated crew, equipment and freight requirements across regional events.
